How to make your own subliminals
Subliminals are affirmations played quietly under ambient sound so they run in the background while you do other things. Custom subliminals use your own affirmations, built around your specific goal. Here is how a subliminal is layered, and how to make one you will actually listen to.
Step 1: write your affirmations
- Use present tense, as if it is already true.
- Keep each line short and specific to one goal.
- Write 5 to 10 lines you can loop without getting bored.
- Avoid negations ("I am calm", not "I am not anxious").
Step 2: choose your background audio
Pick something you can play for long stretches: soft ambient, rain, or a gentle pad. Some people add binaural layers to help them relax. The goal is audio pleasant enough to loop for an hour or overnight.
Step 3: mix and listen
Traditionally you would record the affirmations, lower their volume under the ambient track in audio software, and export a loop, which is fiddly and time-consuming. SelfStudio does this for you: type your goal (or paste your affirmations), and it generates the affirmation layers and mixes them with ambient and binaural sound automatically. Press play anywhere.

How to listen for results
Consistency beats volume. Loop your subliminal during low-focus moments: commuting, chores, falling asleep. Pair it with scripting (writing the same affirmations) so the message reaches you through both audio and writing. Give it a few weeks before you judge it.
